I haven't used one yet - so i can't totally comment. But the Bond references i've seen on the wiki are awesome.

Re: once per lifetime purchase of nocturne items
Actually, thinking about it, is there anybody out there besides Muh who would want to buy one of these? *Raises hand* I shoot for 10, but that would be a really long-term goal. Like getting 10 Precompletion training certificates (almost halfway there!). Yes, I know that that is utterly ridiculous. ...

Re: What would you like in a contest?
Anyway, I voted for speed contests, but it seems like if it's meant to be a recurring thing, you might as well alternate between different types of contests, to keep people interested. That's what i was thinking. That would be nice, cause that'll give players incentive to mix up their run styles - ...

If you do a retcon contest, just make sure it's something you can verify in the profile pages. I'm not saying the people who enter are going to lie.....but all people are dirty, filthy liars. Also, realize that not many people are going to enter unless these forums get more traffic. My own retcon c...

Re: Creative player ideas for in-game items, zones, etc.
First off, stone armor provides defense, it wouldnt do the whole reduce critical damage/chance. Second: One-time/yearly event idea: St. Anne Park is overrun with KoL LARPers. You have to go in and stop them from doing illegal things to seals and weird things to turtles, all while avoiding the freak...

I agree - and i understand. What bugs me is that people complain about pulls - yet they'll quite happily disregard skills. I'm not placing you or anyone who's posted in this thread in that category, but everytime i've used skills wisely, my run(s) have been made much faster. It's conceivable that s...

Re: Pulls vs Perms
Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying skills are worthless. I'm just saying that pulls are going to be vastly more powerful. I don't care how many +chip buffs you pile on, you aren't going to beat pulling a Blue Chip. Likewise, piling on +items will give you an edge and can increase the odds of gettin...

Re: Fastest Retcon Time
I think there are several ways of doing this type of run that would be pretty simple...just very tedious and time-consuming. Farm tons and tons of SQUID discs, RETCON, use 'em on a Frayday, and get to level 30 without using a single turn. That'd grant a lot of turns to be used. Valera's method may ...

Through the Dimensional Rabbit-Hole is my favorite quest. It's not overly long, the XP is good, and there are some decent drops along the way. With +XP modifiers, by the time the quest is done, i find that i'm either level 11 or very close to it - which naturally leads you into the Level 11 quest.

Initiating retcon with the mechanic active seemingly carries over. I've tried it twice now, and it has happened on both occasions. Isn't major as i haven't opened any locations!
